With only 28,000 original km's, this machine is completely stock and maintained by an award winning, factory trained and professional motorcycle mechanic... and needs nothing!
Ridden and maintained daily, this is a sport bike you can live with... comfortable, bullet proof, fast and cheap to maintain.
Cosmetically it has a scuffed muffler on the left side. Whoop-Di-Dooooooo.... ( it wasn't me, i didn't do it, and you can check out the photos cause it just ain't no big deal if you're even remotely serious about owning a 1992 zx 1100 Ninja... the one and only original.
Otherwise... this 19 year old, Hi-performance Sport touring super bike, is very... very tidy indeed.
The 1992 zx1100c was the original and by far the best of the zx1100's... ask anyone that has owned one and replaced it with one of the newer zx1400's... that is what they all tell me, that they liked the original best.
This vintage '92' zx11 was never subject to the 'self imposed' speed limitation of 290 kph that all newer Japanese made motorcycles have been subject to since. This amazing ride feels better and gets more comfortable the faster you go... seriously folks, you have to experience it to appreciate it ;-)
The price is firm, so don't waste your time making an offer. It's just too much fun to ride!
But, if this GEM of a bike is something you're interested in owning, and you're prepared to pay $5,500... you can come ride it away...
This bike needs nothing.
All chassis bearings, brakes, cooling system, suspension, carbs, fluids, valves and everything in between were done as per factory recommended just two months ago.
And it has brand new sport touring skins and battery to boot.
Yes, believe it or not, the original battery was just replaced this season. Properly stored for ten years and put back into service this summer, this is classic sport bike you'll want to add to your collection. Did I say it was a 92 zx1100 for sale?
Oh, and by the way... in just three years time you'll be able to slap a classic plate on it and enjoy "full coverage" insurance for a fraction of what it cost to insure a newer and slower sport bike for "basic coverage", go figure eh.
A 186 mph motorcycle, fully insured for less than a dollar a day.
You gotta love the classics... Ultra fast and comfortable. A state of the art high performance ride... and in just three years time you'll be able to save over a thousand bucks a year on insurance... now that's something to think about!
Did I say think about it?
Once it's 25, it not only appreciates in value... it pays down the original investment one year at a time.
Just for the record, the only reason its for sale is so I can invest in another classic... an 87 ZX1000. Also a Kawasaki. Similar in heritage, a few years older... and it comes with bags, the best shaft drive in the industry... and a 7.something gallon gas tank.
Need I say more?

Motorcycle Rides on Vancouver Island
If you live and ride motorcycles on Vancouver Island, or are planning a motorcycle trip to Vancouver Island, we've begun publishing posts with links to... Videos of Vancouver Island Motorcycle Rides.
This first motorcycle video was taped while riding Nanaimo Lakes Rd. mere minutes south of Nanaimo.
It is a pleasant alternative to the main highway running from Nanaimo to Cassidy.
That is were you'll find the more popular swimming holes frequented by the locals.
Here is the link to the Motorcycle Video shot while Riding Nanaimo Lakes Rd.... http://www.destinationhighways.com/dh/Video/DH71.wmv.

What I want to do, is publish a feature article about Bloys Dekker... so put your thinking cap on and email the goods so I can publish it.
This blog is not going to be the "Bloys on Bikes" blog. That will come later. I just wanted to get something up that I can use for now. Whatever this evolves into, it will always be here as a compliment to everything that comes later ;-)
Looking forward to the ride Sunday!
